The line nobody else here will quote.
Replacing a client’s subscriptions with software they run themselves cuts a normal provider’s resale margin, so normal providers do not offer it. We have no resale margin to protect, and we specialize in the infrastructure side of the work.
What is delivered
Three lines, none of which mainstream providers price competitively.
Every engagement here starts with the same question: what does this cost you today, in money and in risk, and what would it cost run a different way? If the answer is that your current arrangement is already the right one, that is a finding, and it is the one we get paid to give you honestly.
SaaS cost audit & consolidation
- Full subscription inventory with owner, renewal date and true annual cost
- Licence right-sizing — the seats nobody has signed into since last year
- Overlap analysis where three products do one job
- Replace-or-keep recommendation per product, with the migration cost stated
- Renewal calendar so the next auto-renewal is a decision rather than a surprise
Self-hosted stack migration
- File sync and share, document management, wikis and internal documentation
- Password and secrets management
- Ticketing, project tracking and internal workflow tools
- VPN and remote access
- Reporting and business-intelligence dashboards
- Ongoing management per application stack, including patching and backup
Infrastructure engineering
- Infrastructure as code and GitOps for environments small enough that nobody else offers it
- Managed public-cloud and VPS instances
- Cloud repatriation when the monthly bill stopped making sense
- Replicated storage, backup targets and restore testing
- Linux fleet management alongside the Windows estate, not instead of it
The fourth line in this family — a self-hosted language model answering questions over your own documents — has its own page, because what it does not do needs more room than a card. It runs on the same logic as the three above: nobody else here sells it, and we have no resale margin it would cost us.
Out of scope
Five limits on where your data will and will not live.
- We will not host controlled unclassified information
- CUI on infrastructure we operate would make us a cloud service provider owing FedRAMP Moderate equivalency with an annual third-party audit and no permitted open findings. That is categorically out of reach at this size. Defense-adjacent clients get an enclave architecture and their CUI stays out of our infrastructure.
- Regulated data placement is decided in writing first
- Protected health information, cardholder data and anything covered by a contractual flow-down gets a written placement decision — where it lives, who can reach it, how it is encrypted, how it is backed up, and which agreement covers it — before a single byte moves. Not afterwards, and not by default.
- This is not a hyperscaler and we do not pretend otherwise
- There is no staffed round-the-clock operations desk behind the infrastructure. Monitoring runs continuously and alerts are responded to during business hours; round-the-clock staffing is not on offer. Where an application genuinely cannot tolerate that, it belongs on a public cloud with a support contract, and we will tell you so and help you build it there.
- Comms rooms, racks and power are licensed trades
- If the plan needs a new circuit, a new rack fastened to the building, or new cable, that work is contracted directly by you with a licensed electrician or low-voltage contractor. We specify it and hold it to the specification; we do not perform it.
- Backup of client data carries a deliberate cost
- For anything business-critical we buy backup from a vendor rather than self-hosting it, and price it accordingly. Liability transfer is the product being purchased there. A failed restore is a business-ending event, and it is the one place where saving money is the wrong trade.
What we need from you
Three conditions for a successful engagement.
- Someone on your side owns the outcome
- An honest inventory, including the renewals
- Your data classified before it is moved
Next step
Start by finding out what you are actually paying for.
An IT assessment inventories the estate and the spend before anyone proposes moving anything. A typical assessment runs 20–40 hours at our standard rate of $165/hr.
